Adobe Flash runtimes support H.264 and AAC
21 Aug 2007Adobe has announced support for H.264 (codec) and AAC (audio) in latest update of Adobe Flash Player 9 Beta and Adobe AIR. I just read Tinic's post, which is full of information. Some related links:-
- Tinic's technical post on H.264 support and other things added to latest update of Flash Player 9 Beta 2.
- Adobe's announcement on Yahoo! Finance
- Ryan's post on H.264 support
- ReadWriteWeb on H.264 support </ul>
I think, this would increase Flash Player usage on web. I am hoping that this update makes to release version ASAP. Future surely looks great...
